tinny 3k (narrow band or fit)
honky tonk attachment on upright piano resonance 30 to 50 hz

(watch out for pedal thumps in lower frequencies)

brass -fullness 100-250

reeds- brightness 5-7k

strings- string buzz2 to 5k (dip)

maybe, but it is accurate on a general level.

Kind of handy actually if you are using a parametric eq without an analyser.

what would go great with this would be some little explanation on how to apply the info from the chart.. for some of the less epxerienced users

i have a couple questions if no one mines

the kick = whats boom and botteM?

snare you mention crispiness 3-5 k, are you saying here adjust the high end of eq to 3_5 K?

if someone could help me read this chart that would be amazing

There was a color general freq chart posted like about a month ago somewhere here, don't remember what thread it was in though.

crispness, boom, and bottom are all "audio terms" those frequencies are usually where those terms sit in the respective instrument.

so if something says crispness, that means that the crispness usually sits between 3 and 5 k and if you want that crisp snare sound those are the frequencies you boost.
