HELP! Anyone else keep losing samples/programs on MPC1000 JJ

Hey people...

Wondering if anyone else is geeting the same problem as me???

I keep losing samples after powering off, the program is there but sounds missing?

Ive tried saving entire memory, saving as programs and sequences etc, but I keep losing all my tracks

It is killin me!! Any ideas people? Please help

There is plenty of programs I saved on there with bluebox and a heap of old samples that are all good

It just seems to be new programs going awol...

I just backed up and reformatted the card and same old

Sometimes JJOS doesn't load all of the samples for me when I go to reload a project, they just don't come in. They typically are still there though. If you actual go to the folder can you still find them?

Try using load folder instead of load project and see if they come back.

i've said it before, i'll say it again...



save ENTIRE MEMORY into a new folder.

when you load, select the entire folder and load.

if you don't bother naming your programs & sequences, pressing the CLEAR option every time you load is a MUST. if you don't press clear, the defualt [blank] program01 will stay in memory without any samples assigned to it.

Something similar is happening to me too. I save the ENTIRE MEMORY into a new folder, and when i load the program again only SOME programs/sounds are missing (they exist as samples but they are not assigned to a program).

Last night i saved a loop i was pretty happy with, and this morning when i wanted to hear it again the drum-track was gone (everything else was there).

I just ordered my OS2XL-password. Hope this solves the issue for good.

I have had this problem for two years and asked about it two years ago and never got a clear answer.

I have been loading folders with the drums missing from my samples for a long time. I have had to go back and reload everything again by program and while it is not impossible it is tedious.

Now, I can just press clear and avoid this,

instead of suffering for 2 years you could have just read the FAQ that's located in this very forum. it's all in there.
