footswitch feature request

its kind of special: i got a footswitch and i like playing the pads while seq is playing and then footswitch the OVERDUB/PUNCH IN/OUT so the hands don´t loose the flow...i like the footswitch

i noticed the key i use most is overdub ON/off (while editing in grid (delete,paste,insert note while seq stoped))

and there is no option to switch it on /off witch footswitch

if footswitch set to overdub/punch it starts playing when pressed the first time and punches in the second time pressed

so i would like to have a footswitchmode to just switch overdub ON/off without starting play

i cautiously asked jj, he replied:
Since it must examine whether a problem occurs by the addition, it cannot immediately answer.

so he will examine it i hope its in a further version

is there someone also using footswitch ? or is this my individual request

I'm down for that. Though I have a 1k and it won't be added to ours because of OS space (which is full!) I'm down anyway. We got a 2500 @ the studio and I could use it there.
I got 1 footswitch, botu to cop another 1 next payday. I think footswitch functions are underrated! They are very handy ( pun intended).
